I auditioned for America’s Got Talent this past Saturday in Atlanta GA. I was about 300 people away from the start of the line. They filmed everything. You ride this elevator to the registration area and camera’s are rolling. My number was 5429. When called you and 3other singers go in front of 3 judges. They dont give you any comments. Just thank you and goodbye. We are suppose to know if we made the show in 30 days. OVERALL THE EXPERIENCE WAS WONDERFUL. LOOK OUT OF THE GUY IN THE BRIGHT YELLOW SHIRT. THATS MEEEE!

i am hunter i am doing singing in the rain i am 6 i went to atlanta
(Hunter’s Mom here he called Atlanta Atlantis when he told his class he was going. There were a lot of very adorible talented kids at the audition we go tthere at 7 am and were in the secound group let in when the doors opened at 10am he was done with his audition and we were in the car headed home by 11:15. Very smooth audition process and the staff was very kind. There was a boy that was blind and played the drums behind us in line and they were so helpful in making sure he felt safe and comfotable. Being a person with disablities and a Mom that really made me feel good about the debate I had going into allowing my son to audition.) Good luck everyone and remember it isn’t weither you win or lose it is if you did your best and most of all if you HAD FUN!

ok…here is the scoop om our audition…my wife and i are a musical group..i play guitar and sing back up and my wife sings lead…so we showed up to chicago around 9:45 and were in line a bit after 10am…we finaly madeit inside the hotel around 1pm maybey a bit earlier…once in side we turned in our paperwork and headed upstairs …this is when things got strange…cameras where every where… when we entered the ballroom i talked to a producer to let him know what i needed for my act…i was under the impression there would be a sound system in one of the rooms…he said ok the we sat and waited…and waited…and waited…they were not calling #s… thery were randomly picking people to audition…we waited patiently…and waited some more…people came and left …they did interviews all around us..it was as if we were invisable…finaly i got the nerve to ask what was going on and when we might audition…he said we were going to a different room and that we would bee soon…it was now after 4pm…finaly they motioned for us …took us up the elevator…when we came out we were in a line of about 8 people…mostly singers…each went in, sang a song..and came out…i was getting nervous…one by one we were getting closer…finaly we were up …we were the last to audition all day…so we go in… i set up my amp…while my wife gave the judges some tshirts… i plug in my guitar and strum a chord…then a guy whom im told is the co executive producer exclaims…”your through to the next round” unfortunately he was joking…(although my guitar did sound particulary awesome)… so we stand on the x and answer a few questions…then they ask what we will be singing …”an original called..(i wont post the song name for animinity)” they asked what its about and we explained they seemed very impressed…so we began our song…and we kicked but …it was awesome…the entire time every one in the room was smileing ear to ear…looking back and fourth as if to say wow!! these guyes r good!!!about half way thru we recieved a motion that we can stop…they all said it was great… then… the co executive producer read a few excerptd off our questionaires outloud…saying it was very cool
i wont go into detail…”do you have another song? he asked…yes…so after another brief explanation…we began singing…again lost of nodding lots of positive gestures!!a bout half way thru they stopped us…”have you been interviewed?” they asked…No we hadnt…so they told us to go find so and so and tell him we must be interviewed…cool!!!!!”but before you gostate your phone number for the camera”they said…so we did…then i head out of the room and begin packing up my stuff as the production assistant coms up and exclaims”you guys rock!!! wow!!! best all day!!” and lots of great things like that!!as i finish packing up my stuff the so and so we are supposed to find…finds us and says they called him and said they must interview us…sweet.so we head upstairs and he interviews us…then asks us to play a song…so i get my guitar out…and we play for a bit…then in his brittish accent he says “brilliant!!!”…thats the end of the interview…im putting the guitar away again and the mic guy any camera guy came up to us and said we were great and we dont need this show to make it and stuff…so then we left…we were told they would be conducting callbacks in 1 month…so that should be any day now!!!
srry for the long post….

Good Luck Judson you are a great guy and what you are doing with your music is great and even more special is your company you created from the almost tradgedy of you accident.
Good Luck to the others that sign here and our Atlanta “entertainment” Bear:-) and the other adorible kids that auditioned. Due to the “shock value” regections they plan to do in LA I am preety sure the only kids that will make it to LA will be ones that will go through to the next round.

My 15 year old sister, Jenny, auditioned in NYC ib Aoruk 17th. She is a ventriloquist and was interviewed by several people, even was asked to do her talent along the waiting line - and to interview other contestants who were standing in line.

All open call auditions are over they did add one last Thursday and Friday now you can still send in tapes. But it sounds like the majority have already been called back as they have called NYC people that posted and they were the same week as Atlanta.

My daughter and friends auditioned in Atlanta and were called back in immediately after to sing more songs and to sing individually. They also had an interview but have not been called back as of 05/15. We haven’t heard of any Atlantans that were called back yet. Good luck to all of y’all who have been contacted!

HI! I took my niece to the New York auditions. We went to the Queens audion and were about the 50th person on line. She was interviewed as well, but I’m wondering if they’ve done the callbacks, because they already have commercials for the June 21 show. She’s 10 years old and is a singer. There seemed to be a lot of young talent, which maybe we should start a local TV show, but it was a great experience for her. Has anyone gotten a callback from the Queens audition?
